As part of its “Mémoire” project, the Saint-Laurent school is pleased to invite you to a lecture by historian Jean-Michel Bodelet.
After being selected by the Province of Luxembourg's “Mémoire-Commémoration” project, the teachers have chosen to unite around a common theme for this school year: the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge, with a particular focus on the village of Grand-Halleux.
All classes, from kindergarten to P6, will be working on this theme, tackling a variety of skills to culminate in a grand finale on June 06. Save the date in your diary! We're still keeping the suspense alive... This conference marks the beginning of our project. Mr. Bodelet will talk about the situation in the region between the first liberation and the start of the offensive, with particular reference to a number of wartime episodes.
